The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any formality in the proposals received. Mowing is to be completed Monday through Friday between the hours of 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the designated day according to the mowing routes. This will assure the areas are mowed before recreation events. Services may include, but will not be limited to the following: o mowing, blowing, and aerating turf o applying fertilizer o controlling weeds, pests, and diseases using chemicals o pruning shrubs and trees; staking trees as needed o caring for groundcover o planting annuals o maintaining all plant material in good condition with horticultural accepted standards for growth, color, and appearance o maintaining irrigation systems o maintaining hard surfaces o picking up trash o reporting vandalism and/or safety hazards to City representative o replenishing dog waste bags and emptying out trashcans in the Neighborhood Trails and Pocket Parks. Licenses and Certificates 1. Contractor(s) and any subcontractor(s) must possess or obtain City of Tulare business licenses; 2. Contractor(s) or your spraying subcontractor must possess or obtain a Qualified Applicators License; 3. Contractor(s) or your landscape subcontractor must possess or obtain a minimum of a C-27 Landscape Contractors License. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
