Project Description: The project includes the installation of a low-pressure sewer force main and lot stub-outs along Sound side Drive between East Shore Boulevard and Oak Drive, including Spruce Street. Additional Work includes the proper abandonment of existing septic tanks and the installation of grinder pump stations, including, but not limited to, wet wells, pumps, electrical hookups, piping connection to roadway stub outs, property restoration, and all appurtenances necessary for a complete and operations system. Questions regarding the project should be submitted to the Procurement Officer via email at procurement@gulfbreezefl.gov or through electronically Q&A by close of business on October 27, 2023. All prospective bidders are encouraged to obtain and review plans and specifications for this project before the pre-bid so that they are prepared to discuss any questions concerning this project. Late proposals will not be accepted, regardless of the reason. The City of Gulf Breeze (i) will award the project to the lowest responsible and responsive Bid; (ii) reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any bid informalities, and to re-advertise for bids when deemed in the best interest of the City; and (iii) hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, gender, religion, age, disability, marital status or national origin in consideration for an award.
