THE BID DATE FOR THE TEXAS CITY LA MARQUE HIGH SCHOOL REPLACEMENT PROJECT WILL BE POSTPONED TO A DATE TO BE DETERMINED (TENTATIVELY FEBRUARY 29). The site is located at 397 Duroux Road, La Marque, Texas 77568 Texas City Independent School District intends to construct a new High School Building. The project will consist of phased construction including a new high school building, renovation and repurpose of a portion of the existing high school to be utilized as a field house, renovation of the existing Auditorium, and renovation of the existing Gymnasium building. The project also includes a new football stadium, restroom & concession building, track and field events, and Baseball & Softball Fields. The project is located at 397 Duroux Rd, La Marque, Texas 77568. The project will be phased: Construction for Bid Package #2 March 1, 2024 - March 2, 2026 Phase 1a - High School Replacement Building March 1, 2024 - Sept. 30, 2025 Site Demolition and Maintenance Building Demolition March 1, 2024 - May 1, 2024 Demolition of Existing High School Bldg October 30, 2025 - February 28, 2025 Phase 1b - Stadium Construction March 1, 2024 - August 20, 2025 Phase 2 - Auditorium Renovation May 29, 2025 - February 27, 2026 Phase 3 - Competition Gym Renovation February 6, 2025 - May 28, 2025 Phase 4 - Field House Renovation January 2, 2025 - July 22, 2025 Refer to the Project Manual and Drawings for a complete description of the work for this project.
