Renovation of a transportation facility in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The estimated construction cost is $650,000.00. Contractor shall perform work in two phases and encompass all construction tasks necessary to facilitate installation of new fire-suppression foam-system. All fire-suppression equipment shall be University Furnished / Contractor Installed. Phase 1 construction will include installation and commissioning of new fire-suppression system for both helipads by a FireDos authorized installer. Additional work will include but not be limited to, new equipment-pad and flashing, patching of roof by a Sika Sarnafil authorized installer, piping installation with seismic restraints, and electrical connections to panel. Phase 2 will consist of the removal of all existing equipment that is no longer functional due to installation of new equipment in Phase 1.
