As of 11/15/2023, bids were higher than expected, over the previously budgeted amount, and will have to be rebid and a later time. The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation is inviting written bids for all Project Management, Superintendence, labor, machinery, equipment, tools, materials, supplies and appurtenances described by this solicitation. Any of the 2 x 6 purlins that need to be replaced should be replaced as part of the bid (see attached pictures). New 29 gauge or heavier tin should be installed using screws. Once the tear off and the new installation is complete, a magnet should be used to pick up any nails or screws within 20 feet of the barn in all directions. All old nails, purlins, and any related trash or waste will be removed from site by the contractor to a location of their choosing. All work must be completed between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Materials can be delivered to the Porter office, if necessary, but must coordinate with office personnel before any deliveries are made. All workers must park in areas noted by office personnel. The contract will be issued by the Office of Management and Enterprise Service, Construction and Properties Division (OMES/CAP). The Contractor shall not begin work until the contract is in place and written notice to proceed has been issued by OMES/CAP. The successful Contractor will have 30 days from Notice to Proceed to complete the work outlined in the scope of work.
