Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Dunellen, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project generally consists of pavement milling, the furnishing and installation of hot mix asphalt surface course, including sweeping, tack coating, and other pavement preparation and related work. The project also includes the removal and replacement of curbs, sidewalks and driveway aprons, driveway restoration and partial reconstruction where indicated on the plans, sanitary sewerage improvements, storm drainage improvements, and all other associated work and services in accordance with the Contract Documents. Work at additional locations may be ordered by the Borough if deemed appropriate. A bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid amount, but not in excess of $20,000.00, may be substituted for certified check or cashiers check. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids under the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 and to award the contract for any and/or all items. The successful bidder shall be required to comply to the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963, effective January 1, 1964. During the performance to this contract the Contractor agrees to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975 c.127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27); all requirements of the State of New Jersey Worker Health and Safety Act (N.J.A.C. 12:110 et. seq.) as amended; the United States Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) (29 CFR 1910), as amended with regard to worker jobsite safety.
