Site work for a civil project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work for the contract is for the construction of 8,550 linear feet of 24-inch surface water transmission line to connect North Harris County Regional Water Authority (Authority) project 31A and 31D and 10,365 linear feet of 16-inch water line and 2,200 linear feet of 12-inch water line to provide surface water to Harris County FWSD 61 Water Plants #2 and #3 and Harris County MUD 170. The work is within an existing CenterPoint corridor and the Authority easements with the exception of roadway crossings by a combination of open cut and trenchless construction methods including valves, conductive trace wire, connections and appurtenances. Work within the water plant sites includes, but is not limited to site piping, flow control and meter stations, tank connections, chemical treatment, electrical components, and instrumentation.
