The Atlantic County Utilities Authority is soliciting Bid Proposals for a Maintenance Contract for its sludge incinerators: Crouse 25' 9" outside diameter and an Envirotech 16' 9" O.D. Multiple Hearth Furnace at its Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 1801 Absecon Blvd., Atlantic City, N.J. 08401. All bidders must meet equal opportunity requirements of P.L. N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, as described in the specifications. Bidders are responsible for affirmative action compliance. Bids that arrive late due to the fault of U. S. Postal Service, United Parcel Service, DHL, FEDEX, any delivery/courier service, or any other carrier of any sort are still considered late and shall not be accepted by the Authority. Such bids shall remain unopened and will be returned to the submitting entity upon request. The Authority is not responsible for the loss or destruction of any bid submitted to the Purchasing Manager before the time set for bid opening.
