Renovation of a water / sewer project in Heath, Texas. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
the project is designed to remove and replace the existing 200HP Pump and Motor and the existing 16" Butterfly Valve along with appurtenances associated with the work and modifying the existing SCADA to give the operator more flexibility in operating the pumps. Bidder must submit, with their Bid, a Cashier's check, Certified check or a Bid Bond from an approved surety company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of their Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and guarantee forms, if required, within 10 days after notice of award of contract. The successful bidder must furnish both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, from an approved Surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding Certificates of Authority from the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, or another Surety acceptable to the City. The right is reserved by the City of Heath to reject any and all bids.
