Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 141,000-square-foot bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and for site work for a development.
As of February 27, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award was not yet been established. The general scope of the project consists of improvements to two adjacent park properties, Al Rohde Park and the Buddy Calk Trailhead. Patrons have long since used one property to access the other and this project will connect the two with a pedestrian pathway and landscaping. Construction services include demolition, site work, shade structures, pedestrian bridge fabrication and installation, concrete flatwork, soil amendments, landscaping, trees and irrigation. Additive alternates include agility equipment and associated safety surfacing, and a concrete basketball court. The estimated construction budget for this contract is $650,000.00. The Deadline for questions is scheduled for February 8, 2024 at 4:00PM (CT). It is understood and agreed that the work is to be substantially completed on or before 180 calendar days AABE 4%
