This RFP is intended to solicit responses from qualified vendors that will assist the district in conducting manufacturer negotiations and provide technical assistance for the purchase of Materials, Soil, and Construction Materials Services. This procurement is intended to cover Materials, Soil, and Construction Materials Services. The duration of the contract resulting from this RFP shall be one (1) year from the date of award. The district reserves the right, by mutual agreement of the parties, to extend the contract on an annual basis for up to three (3) additional years. Under no circumstances will the term of this contract, including all renewals thereof, exceed a total for four (4) years in duration. It is the responsibility of the prospective Proposer to monitor the Roswell Independent Schools' website to obtain RFP addenda or other information relating to the RFP. The board of education for the roswell independent school district (risd) is requesting proposals from firms interested in providing materials, soil, and construction materials services to the school district for materials testing on the following types of projects. 1. Co-op - cooperative agreement projects with state highway department 2. Construction/reconstruction projects 3. Other civil engineering projects the contractor will provide a certificate of professional liability insurance in an amount not less than that established by new mexico tort claims act.
