Demolition, site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Palo Alto, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for the construction of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility.
The Project consists of: Site New Parking lot, modification to existing paths of travel from existing accessible parking stalls South of 000 West building, accessible paths of travel modification around 000 West and 100 West existing and addition buildings. Phase I: 100 East Building: Seismic upgrade of existing classroom building only. 100 West Building: Remodel of existing library building into administration building with new administration building addition. Phase II: 000 West Building: Remodel of existing Admin Building into new library, seismic separation of existing 000 West building from breezeway. Phase 1 includes renovation, seismic retrofit and addition of existing Library building for new Administrative offices. After occupancy of Phase 1, Phase 2 will renovate the existing Administration building into a new Library. Sitework will include a new parking lot and path of travel improvements. Engineer s Estimate: $8.1M To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors license(s): B license. In addition, the Bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. Bonding required for this project is as follows: Bid Bond 10% of the total bid. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made. Contract duration: 609 Calendar Days
