Pima Unified School District, #6 is issuing this RFQ seeking Qualifications for CMAR Services for the Construction of New Pima High School. The new campus is located on approximately 44 acres along Hwy 70. Construction will consist of modular and pre-engineered building structures of approximately 67,000 sq ft. This project is being funded primarily by the ADOA's Division of School Facilities (DSF) aka SFB. Through separate funding, PUSD plans to construct, a roadway, parking lot, sports fields, and a field house. Site construction will be completed off Highway 70 and Center Street at intersection of Center and 600 E. The land is approximately 44 acres of existing farmland with no utility infrastructure on the land. History of this project. The district issued a RFI for modular builders and through that process found Design Modular, ESB Design-Build, and Modular Solutions as available contractors. Next, the district issued a Qualified Select Builders (QSB) Request for Qualifications for this project. Not enough qualified firms responded so it was closed out with no award.
