The City of Del Rio is accepting sealed proposals from qualified General Contractors for the Installation of twenty (20) windows/ seven (7) door units which shall be in strict accordance with the attached installation shop drawings prepared by the Pella window company. All work will be inspected by historic preservation Architect, Able City, LLP. All proposals received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. It is the responsibility of the offeror to ensure their statement of qualifications is received by the City of Del Rio City Secretarys Office by the due date and time. Statements of qualifications received after the deadline shall be considered void and unacceptable. The City of Del Rio reserves the right to reject any and all statements of qualification, to waive any informalities or irregularities, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City. A bond in the amount of 5 percent of the proposal issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each proposal. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Del Rio or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Proposal Bond. All proposals including Bond or Cashier Check shall be submitted in a sealed envelope included with the sealed proposal.
