Renovation of an educational facility in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Westbrook Elementary School has one existing air-cooled chiller serving the building. WCS desires to replace the chiller as it is near the end of its useful life and experiencing major failures. The project includes but is not limited to the following major elements: Removal of the chiller. Removal of existing hydronic piping and insulation to accommodate chiller replacement. Removal of additional exterior hydronic piping insulation (Alternate #1) Removal of additional exterior hydronic piping (Alternate #2) General demolition to accommodate project. Installation of one new chiller. Installation of new hydronic piping and insulation. Installation of additional exterior hydronic piping insulation (Alternate #1) Installation of additional exterior hydronic piping (Alternate #2) Commissioning new equipment and controls. Electrical modifications to accommodate new mechanical equipment. General Construction to accommodate new mechanical equipment.
