his Project is administered by MDEQ and funded by the RESTORE Council, award #GNTSP18MS0058, Mississippi Gulf Coast Water Quality Improvement Program. The purpose of this Project is to construct a treatment system for the discharge of stormwater from the Courthouse Road area of Gulfport, MS, in Harrison County. The system is made up of a concrete weir vault, a mechanical treatment unit, stormwater pipe, a constructed marsh area, pre-cast oyster reef structures, a retaining wall, a boardwalk, and a pavilion. The system will be connected to the existing box culverts that convey stormwater beneath US Hwy. 90.
