Renovation of a water / sewer project in Newton, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a wastewater treatment plant.
The Project includes the following Work: Replacement of all PLC and SCADA equipment currently used throughout the Newton water supply, treatment and distribution system. Replacements of radio equipment and antenna/cable verifications for all remote data links is included at all locations. One remote radio node will be redirected to eliminate interference. All replacement activity will be completed in a way that allows continuous use of the overall system with brief individual outages of automation, relying on manual operation. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Issuing Office as having received the Bidding Documents.
