Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Oak Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
In general, the improvements consist of: milling and resurfacing of parking lots, striping, combination curb and gutter removal, combination curb and gutter installation, sidewalk removal, sidewalk installation, and drainage structure repair. Location: Lots 29, 46D, 46E, 66, 66N, SB6, 68, 100, 101, 109, 110 At the bid opening, all proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the amount of 5% of the bid amount. The proposal guaranty shall be in the form of a bid bond executed by a corporate surety company. If this proposal is accepted and the undersigned fails to execute an agreement and contract bond within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award, it is hereby agreed that the bid bond shall be forfeited to the Village. The awarding authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in Article 102.01 of the latest edition of the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction," prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation. The work to be performed pursuant to this Proposal is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq.
