Description

Renovation of a residential development in Jonesborough, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

Contact: (423)791-3869 (cell); (423)753-1030 (office) or rachelc@jonesboroughtn.org The gutters of the restroom building and house structure will be cleaned, removing any leaves and debris prior to other work starting. The gutters, downspouts and roof of the restroom building will be gently power washed to remove debris. The entirety of the structure must be gently power washed so as to clean the surface but not cause damage to the wood siding. Paintable surfaces will receive a light scraping so as to remove any loose paint. All loose caulk is to be removed, avoiding any damage to the wood surfaces. Fresh caulk will be applied to edges, holes and trim in order to prevent damage to wood elements. Any siding, window framing, lattice, posts, or other wood elements deemed to have wood rot or damage is to be replaced. The structure, including siding, trim and gutters and downspouts, are to be primed using a gripper primer, or equal. The Town of Jonesborough is now accepting bids for repair and painting of the exterior of the Slemons House and Restroom building.
