As aforementioned, the contractor will provide labor, materials & cleaning supplies (chemicals), equipment and supervision. The contractor shall provide a list of assigned personnel for all locations. This list shall be updated as needed. To gain access to restricted ASPA facilities, the assigned personnel must report to the ASPA's Port Police Building, located at the docks main gate (900 ASD Blvd, Mobile, AL), to sign out keys for the facilities. At the conclusion of all work, the designated personnel shall return said keys to the Port Police Building. Lost keys will carry a penalty assessable to and payable by the contractor of up to $50 ($3 per key). Deliberate and specific care must be exercised at all times and sanitary/disinfection procedures must be followed by all janitorial personnel in order to prevent cross-contamination and the migration of germs occurring across non-compatible surface areas being cleaned: 1. Stock all restrooms, kitchens, kitchenettes and breakrooms with toilet tissue, paper towels and antibacterial hand soap. Remove and replace used trash can liners in all offices, restrooms, kitchens, kitchenettes and breakrooms with fresh clean liners. Remove and replace used trash can liners in all exterior trash cans at the Terminal Railroad and Port Police facilities. Empty small paper shredder machines, if the employees have removed the tops or have them slightly open. Remove cardboard boxes, only if they have been flattened, and place them in the "recycling materials only" containers outside of select buildings. As aforementioned, trash can liners, toilet tissue, toilet seat liners, paper towels, hand soap and dispensers will be furnished by the ASPA. When consumables are running low or when a dispenser is not working, send a notice via email as soon as possible to Joy Lang at Joy.Lang@alports.com. Dusting & Polishing of Vertical Surfaces: Dust vertical surfaces using a disposable electrostatic dusting cloth or dusting apparatus with a pre-applied dust collecting agent. Dust ceiling vents and lighting devices, window blinds, ceiling molding, and ledges until clean. *Only dust window ledges that are clear of any items. o Stairwells: Sweep then damp mop stairwell floors using clean water. Change the water as often and as needed to ensure the water being applied is clean. No excess water should be left behind. Appropriate biodegradable deodorizing cleaning chemicals at manufacturer's recommended dilution ratios must be used. No dirt shall be left in corners or behind doors. When damp mopping stairwell floors, the "Wet Floor" caution signs must be posted, until area is completely dry. Absolutely no exceptions to this safety requirement will be tolerated, under any circumstances. o Interior Glass Doors : Windows and glass doors shall be cleaned with a non-abrasive, environmentally friendly solution that leaves a streak free appearance. Windowsills & frames shall be wiped clean of dust and residue. The interior Windows at the ITC is included in this scope of work. The Alabama State Port Authority (ASPA) will receive sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide professional services for janitorial service for multiple ASPA facilities.
