Renovation of a water / sewer project in Brookeland, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Brookeland Fresh Water Supply District (BFWSD) will be taking bids to replace its electrical/process control system at its Forest Hills wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). The WWTP was put into service in 2004 and is a Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR). The WWTP utilizes liquid level, dissolved oxygen, and total suspended solid transmitters, submersible level transmitters, as well as high level floats, sequencing air valve and air compressors for daily operations of influent and aeration pumps Scope of work: Redesign, consolidate and install two control/PLC boxes into one (if possible).Provide all labor and equipment needed for timely replacement without total disruption of the system.
