Upper Long Cane Waterline Project. There is no pre-bid conference for this project. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidders maximum Bid price. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Upper Long Cane Waterline Project which includes furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to construct the following summary of Work: approximately 9,910 LF of 12" DI, 7,900 LF of 8" DI, and 5,885 LF of 6" DI waterlines with misc. appurtenances including (20) fire hydrants in and around the northwest side of the City of Abbeville, SC. A master metered connection with Donalds-Due West Water & Sewer Authority is also included in the project. The work is divided into a Base Bid with two (2) add alternates. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Question Deadline 10/26/2023 Project will be constructed under a single prime contract with a Base Bid which may be awarded with or without Alternate #1, and/or Alternate #2 so that the Project is within budget and in the Owner's best interest. B. The project is funded through a grant from the SC Infrastructure Investment Program (SCIIP). Applicable Federal requirements of 2 CFR 200, Appendix II are described in the Supplemental Conditions for Federal Projects included in the Bidding Documents. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1.
