Renovation of a municipal facility in Waterton Park, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first. Exterior renovations to two Government of Canada Recognized Heritage Buildings located in Waterton, Alberta, including (but not limited to) removal of existing damaged stucco finish and replacement with new stucco finish, removal of existing damaged wooden trim & window sills and replacement with new wooden trim & window sills in a style and finish to match the existing facade, repair and repointing of heritage stone fencing and front steps, and other work required to restore the exterior finishes of the buildings. Stucco and wood replacement of one building will require the removal and eventual reinstatement of an exterior set of stairs, and for the Contractor to provide safe & continual access to the second floor throughout the renovation project.
