Question Deadline 10/23/2023 RFQ Responses/Clarification Posted October 30, 2023 The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission (NGPC) intends to select a group of qualified design teams to be eligible to submit on a future Request for Proposal for design of a marina at Lake McConaughy State Recreation Area. FINANCING NGPC will be funding this project through funding provided by Statewide Tourism and Recreational Water Access and Resource Sustainability (STAR WARS) special committee and LB 1023 Water Recreation Enhancement Act. Alternative funding sources may also be used in this project. DEFINITIONS A. Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the scope of design services of the marina that shall consist of design, engineering, permitting, and construction phase support required for such a project. B. Finance is the ability to provide or arrange financing for said project. C. A Proposer means a person or business that is licensed and is experienced in architectural design, engineering, and construction in the State of Nebraska. D. Addenda are written, or graphic instructions issued by the acting head of the Engineering Division, which modify or interpret the RFQ. E. A Proposal is a complete and properly signed qualification for proposed work. PROJECT DESCRIPTION Project includes the design of a marina with a minimum of 100 boat slips and up to 200 slips. Project will also include an access road, parking, a boat ramp, a 3rd party concession area, annual and daily slips, breakwaters, and other TBD features. With this project, the services of a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) will also be contracted by NGPC. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
