Renovation of a municipal facility in Corvallis, Oregon. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The following specifications are the minimum requirements for the Design-Build Installation of a Roof-Mounted Solar Array on Building 7 project. 1.1. Contractors shall use recyclable products to the maximum extent economically feasible in the performance of the contract work set forth in this document. 1.2. Includes final construction of a turn-key installation photovoltaic (PV) system, integration of power to the grid, and corresponding on-line monitoring equipment. See Attachment B for aerial view. 1.3. Includes necessary engineering to determine if roof weight capacity will allow solar installation. Contractor shall take every effort to maintain roofing integrity and warranty. 1.4. Includes final As-Built drawings, in both printed and digital formats, upon completion of installation. The work consists of the design and construction of a roof-mounted solar array at the Corvallis Transit Maintenance Facility (Building 7). The Engineering estimate is $238,374. Scott Dybvad, Sustainability Coordinator, (541) 766-6331, scott.dybvad@corvallisoregon.gov, will accept written questions seeking clarification about the proposal requirements, and will accept any exceptions to specifications or contract requirements, until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. All questions, including clarification of or exception to specifications, questions regarding proposal submittal instructions, questions or exceptions regarding contract terms, and questions or exceptions to the basis of award must be received by this date and time. No questions about the request for proposal document or the proposal process will be accepted after this date and time.
