Site work for a water / sewer project in Erlanger, Kentucky. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of February 27, 2024, a design team has been identified. Geotechnical Services for Sub-District O Water Main Extension Project The District is currently in the design phase of a water main extension project for Sub-District O, which includes approximately 49,220 feet of new water main in Kenton County. During the initial review of the project, the District and Design Engineer (CT Consultants, Inc.) identified areas of potential instability which will require a geotechnical engineer to assist with the design and make recommendations. The areas of concern include approximately 1,080 feet along Mason Road (from hydrant at #460 to Wilson Road), approximately 2,220 feet along Webster Road (from Richardson Road to #4816 and from #4914 to end of maintained roadway), and Approximately 5,300 feet along Fowler Creek Road (from Old Madison to KY 17). Site maps identifying the limits of concern have been included with the RFP. Within this area, the District plans to install new 8" ductile iron water main. The method of construction to be used for installation of the water main is anticipated to be open trench. Based on evaluation of proposals, the NKWD (Owner) intends to select a geotechnical firm (the Consultant) with which to enter into an engineering services agreement for this project.
