Reference Number 0000331922 The Town of Smithfield (Town) and the Smithfield Water Supply Board (SWSB) is seeking sealed Bids for the North Providence Pressure Control Project. This project includes the installation of pressure reducing valves (PRV) for pressure control along Smithfield Road in North Providence and the installation of new water main to close the loop on two dead ends in the system on Cavalry Drive and Douglas Pike in Smithfield, RI. Participation Requirements - Minority Business Participation - Women-Owned Business Participation General Requirements - Insurance Required - Required -Time of completion is set at 200 days following the Notice to Proceed to complete all work. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - 100 % -- The successful Bidder must furnish a and a Labor and Material , in the specific formats as attached herein, both for the full value of the Bid Price, along with all required insurance certificates, within ten (10) calendar days after the award date in order to execute a Contract. All Bidders must comply with the State of Rhode Island requirements regarding the participation of minority/women's business enterprises (MBE/WBE's) or DBE in the of this contract.
