This contract is for spring planting in BCTS TOC-Columbia Zone. Tree planting in various locations in Revelstoke and Golden. Approximately 764,680 trees in 428.6 hectares. Bigmouth blocks K68Q, K671, K672 are scheduled to be broadcast burned for site preparation in either fall 2023 or early spring 2024. Please bid assuming the blocks will be broadcast burned. In the case the blocks are not able to be burned, bid prices for the specified blocks can be re-negotiated (See tender offer form). The Bigmouth FSR deactivation tree plant has helicopter landings for crew drop off, which will be discussed at pre-work. TOC Business area replants trees annually in order to meet reforestation requirements. This planting contract will assist with BCTS meeting their reforestation requirements. All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: Forests.OkanaganColumbiaTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. Deadline for receiving questions is 4:00 pm on October 19, 2023. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to electronically by October 24, 2023. If your bid deposit is in the form of cash, money order, certified cheque or bank draft, you will not be able to e-bid. See allowable submission delivery method(s) above. Also see Conditions of Tender for acceptable bid securities. The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
