sealed bids will be received by the South Hunterdon Regional School District, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, for ROD-Grant Roof Replacement at Lambertville Public School for the South Hunterdon Regional School District. Question Deadline 10/11/2023 All questions shall be presented to the Owner through its Architect in writing no later than seven (7) days, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted, prior to the date for acceptance of bids via e-mail to Mr. Michael Bryson at mbryson@usaarchitects.com . Sealed bids will be received for the following contract: a. Overall Single Prime (all of the work, Lump Sum, All Trades, All Inclusive) DPMC Pre- Qualification C70 Roofing-Built Up. Bidding Documents may be examined electronically. This will take you directly to the project for viewing or ordering. Documents may be sent prepaid through Federal Express or UPS. Bids must be submitted on the proposal forms in the manner designated, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of Bidder and proposal identification number on the outside, and must be accompanied by certified check, cashier's check or Bid Bond drawn to the Order of the "South Hunterdon Regional School District", for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, but in no case in excess of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000); and must be delivered to Mr. Andrew Harris, Business Administrator at the above place, by the hour named. The Board and the Board's Architect or Engineer assume no responsibility for bids mismailed or misdirected. Each bidder shall submit with its bid, a Certificate of Consent of Surety as per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25 from a Surety company stating that it will provide the bidder, if successful, with a performance/payment bond in the full amount of the contract. The Board shall award the contract or reject all bids within sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening, unless such time is extended with the consent of bidders pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-36a. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive immaterial defects in the bid in accordance with applicable law, and to award contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et. seq. Bidders are required to comply with the equal opportunity and affirmative action requirements set forth in N.J.S.A. 10:5-30 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1 et. seq. If the bid exceeds $20,000.00, all bidders and sub-contractors shall pre-qualify as required by the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of Public School Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et. seq. Pursuant to the "Public Works Contractor Registration Act," N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et. seq., bidders and their subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and to possess a current certificate by said Department indicating compliance with the Act. All bidders must provide a copy of their Business Registration Certificate prior to contract award.
