As of May 21, 2024, an architect has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The University at Buffalo intends to hire a consultant to provide design and construction administration services for the renovation of the business office areas located inside the Beane Service Center. As illustrated on the attached drawing, the business office areas total approximately 17,500SF and 2,000SF. The work will include: Demolition of existing space, utilities, and systems. Relocation of existing building entrances. Addition of windows and doors into existing exterior walls. New design layout for business offices, accessory functions, and restrooms. New design and upgrades to the MEP/FP/IT systems to accommodate new layout. Interior design and finishes. Acoustic improvements to address open office noise pollution. Selection of FFE for the business workstations and accessory functions. Audio Visual design for the accessory functions. Site design to accommodate new building entrances/circulation.
