Renovation of a detention facility in North Prince George, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
As of December 07, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. 2.0 SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work will include removing existing carpet and cove base. The contractor will skim and prepare floor for new carpet and or carpet tiles. The contractor shall furnish and install carpet and or carpet tiles. Color to be determined. The contractor shall provide the appropriate carpet and or carpet tile adhesive. The contractor shall furnish and install vinyl cove base and the appropriate adhesive. Color to be determined. The contractor will be responsible for moving any furniture (tables, filing cabinets, desks, chairs etc.) prior to starting work, Inmate Workforce will assist. Work to be done DURING regular business hours of 8:30 AM through 4:00 PM Monday through Friday The contractor will be responsible for area measurements For questions or information, email Trinika Lewis Jones, Purchasing Manager, at tjones@rrjva.org, emails must be titled Carpet Replacement and submitted by October 2, 2023.
