Renovation of a water / sewer project in Andover, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The supplier shall furnish all material, labor, equipment, and incidentals required to remove and dispose of existing (spent) granular activated carbon (GAC) filter media in filter units at the Town of Andover, Water Treatment Division, as specified herein. The MA Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule does apply to the installation of the new filters and removal of the old filters. Bidders submitting a proposal shall abide by this wage rate schedule as certified payroll records will be collected from the contracting department prior to issuing payment for services. In the event this contract is renewed for years 2 and 3, the MA Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule will also be updated and renewed in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed necessary to be in the best interest of the Town.
