Site work and paving for a road / highway in Powell River, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Works involve activities on approximately 7,600 lineal metres of Forest Service Road (FSR) located in the Sunshine Coast Natural Resource District, including. Supply, load, haul, place, grade and compaction of 8,272 tonnes of 100% crushed rock 25mm Well Graded Base (WGB) aggregate material as specified on 7,600 lineal metres of FSR as per attached schedules, specifications, drawing and attachments. Strict traffic control with the use of accredited traffic control personnel and appropriate Worksafe BC compliant signage. Contractor responsible to ensure/coordinate any road closure/restrictions with local residents/caretakers. Strict environmental protective measures to minimize risk of sedimentation to adjacent streams. Works incorporate warning signage, traffic control personnel (the Contractor will supply traffic control personnel during all operations where traffic will be required to move around working machinery), all required environmental protection measures including sediment and water control measures, and any other applicable schedules, specifications, drawings and attachments.
