***Apparent low bidder from previous bid opening: Mid-State Industries, Ltd. - $175,712 Work for Contract No. 1 - Canal Store Facade Installation consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor necessary for the installation of a historic canal store facade, and installation of mezzanine support columns, all as further detailed in the plans and specifications. Bid is sent by mail or other delivery system, both the outside packaging and sealed envelope containing the bid within shall be clearly marked "Friends of Fort Plain Diefendorf Hall Rehabilitation Project Contract No. 1 Bid Enclosed". Accompanying each bid must be a bid bond, certified check or bank check made payable to the order of the Friends of Fort Plain in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bidder's maximum bid amount, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to a bidder, said successful bidder will comply with the Notice to Bidders and the specification for the contract in accordance herewith. Said bid bond, certified check or bank check will be retained by the friends of Fort Plain, and upon completion of the contract, in accordance with said specifications, the said bid bond, certified check or bank check will be returned to the bidder.
