Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tunica, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a retail development; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work shall consist essentially of the following type items 1.Grubbing Tree removal Installation of drainage culverts and flared end sections Construction of the building, including foundation Installation of asphalt drives Misc. grading Saw cut asphalt street for installation of water service Install water service and fire hydrant Repair street Installation of electrical and gas service. Contract time shall be 180 consecutive calendar days from the effective date shown in the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed for each consecutive calendar day thereafter in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). Each Bidder must deposit with his proposal, a Bid Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of his bid, payable to the Town of Tunica, as bid security. Bidders shall also submit a current financial statement, if requested by the City. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Town of Tunica reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
