Sealed bids will be received by the Ventura County Purchasing Agent for the furnishing of all materials, equipment, machinery, tools, apparatus, incidentals, labor and supervision necessary for the removal/stump grind of Soule Park trees, in accordance with attached General Conditions and Specifications. Background: The Ventura County Water & Sanitation Public Works Agency requires District No. 1 Well 98 Equipment Install. The intent of these Contract Documents and Specifications is to rehabilitate and restore production to the Ventura County Waterwork District No. 1 (County or District) municipal water supply well designated as County Well No. 98 (Well No. 98) utilizing the materials and methods as herein specified. All work shall conform to these Specifications, Department of Water Resources Bulletin 74-81, Water Well Standards: State of California, and Standard Specifications For Public Works Construction, 2021 Edition (Green Book). The Contractor is advised to attend the Prebid meeting prior to submittal of his bid. Submittal of this bid indicates the Contractor has visited the site and acknowledges that site access and work areas are severely restricted. All work conducted for this project shall be conducted by staff that is properly health and safety trained to handle the hazardous chemicals required to conduct this work.
