Reference Number AB-2023-06018 Variable frequency drives (VFD) are widely installed in The City of Calgary water, wastewater, linear and W&RS facilities. These VFDs are used to control the flow rates to meet water, wastewater, linear and W&RS process requirements. Some VFD have reached the end of their life cycle and need to be replaced. In the next five years, the VFD replacement will be a continuous maintenance activity for the plant maintenance group. The intention of this RFP is to select a vendor to supply new VFDs and support the plants new VFD installation, operation and maintenance.
