Saving Project...

Renovation of an educational facility in Toronto, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a three-story above grade educational facility.

Upgrade to the building envelope of the E&G-Blocks of Progress Campus, which were built in 1987 as a three-storey mixed use building consisting of classrooms and offices. The project will address the ongoing moisture penetration issue at various locations of the second and third floor of the building, while improving the energy efficiency, and overall aesthetic of the building. TIMELINE: A Request For Proposals from Consultants closed fall 2023, submissions are being reviewed. The RFP is seeking a consultant to plan and implement the upgrades to the building envelope of the E&G Blocks. The outcome of this project may be applied as a standard approach to other buildings in Progress Campus. The work involves design and implementation, plus permit and inspection applications where required. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. Enquiries must be forwarded to the owner prior to October 16 2023 at 2:00 pm EDT.
