Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Honor, Michigan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and water / sewer project.
Benzie County Road Commission seeks bids for school demolition SCOPE OF WORK - The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, apparatus, and traffic control devices required to remove the buildings, including basement walls, utility disconnects, sewer line, well abandonment and capping and all required permits and regulations pertaining to the removal of hazardous materials including asbestos and lead paint items. Benzie county road commission will backfill and remove any existing asphalt and concrete. START DATE - All projects will be ready to begin in accordance with the Michigan Department of Transportation Construction Manual, and weather dependent. Unless noted in the special notes. COMMENCEMENT DATE - December 15, 2023, unless otherwise determined and approved by the Benzie County Road Commission. COMPLETION DATE - November 29, 2024, unless otherwise determined and approved by the Benzie County Road Commission. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES - Liquidated damages of $200 per calendar day will be assessed after the completion date shown for project until it is complete All bids shall be in accordance with the project details and supplemental specifications.
