Description of Work The proposed work is officially known as "Cyclic Parkway Tree Pruning 2023-24". The Village of Westmont is seeking a Contractor to perform area-wide block-cyclic pruning of parkway trees in the Fall/Winter of 2023-24. The duration of the work associated with this contract runs from November 6, 2023, to April 12, 2024. Qualification of Bidders Bidders shall: o Have adequate equipment and employ adequate staff to accomplish the work specified. o Have an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist on site supervising the work at all times. o Have a minimum of three (3) successful municipal pruning projects(s) in northeast Illinois (Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, or Will Counties) completed within the last five (5) years. Prospective bidders must submit any questions via email to jyeater@westmont.il.gov no later than 11:00 AM, October 12, 2023. Questions submitted after the deadline will not be answered.
