Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The City of Des Moines (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The improvement includes the reconstruction of 2nd Avenue with Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) curb and gutter,12-inch thick Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) paving, modified subbase, PCC sidewalks and driveways, retaining wall, pavement removal, storm sewer, intakes, subdrain, sanitary sewer, water main, traffic signalization, pavement markings, traffic control, restoration, seeding, sodding, and miscellaneous associated work to complete the project, all in accordance with the contract documents. This project shall be fully completed not later than September 25, 2026, and in accordance with the Completion Provisions.. Engineer's Construction Estimate. $17,500,000.00
