As of November 28 2023 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The State of Montana, Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (Hereinafter Referred to as the State) is Soliciting Bids for Elk-smith Fireline and Fuel Break Project on the Helena-lewis and Clark National Forest. a More Complete Description of the Supplies and/or Services Sought is Provided in Section 4 of This Ifb. Bids Submitted in Response to This Solicitation Must Comply With the Instructions and Procedures Contained Herein. The contract term begins at contract execution and ends October 1, 2024. Question Deadline 11/08/2023 at 3:00 PM ET Bidders having questions or requiring clarification or interpretation of any section within this IFB must address these questions in writing utilizing the Q & A board within eMACS. Questions received after the deadline listed within eMACS may not be considered. The project area is located approximately 13 miles southwest of Augusta, MT on the Helena-Lewis & Clark National Forest (HLF). The project area includes 3 separate units (1,12, &13) that are planned for prescribed burns. In preparation for the prescribed burns, Fireline and Fuel Breaks will be constructed in 5 locations within the 3 units.
