The Parish requires a Contractor to remove/replace road panels, clean and seal pipe joints, and catch basins, located at Lake Tahoe (R08L048; S31-T8-R15) in Slidell, Louisiana. Any work that may be reasonably inferred from the specifications or drawings as being required to produce the intended result shall be supplied whether or not it is specifically called for. Work, materials or equipment described herein which so applied to this project are covered by a well known technical meaning or specification shall be deemed to be governed by such recognized standards unless specifically excluded. The time period of completion is 30 days from Notice to Proceed issued by the Parish. The Parish reserves the right to revise this schedule. Any such revision will be formalized by the issuance of an addendum to the Quote Request. If the estimated cost of the work is $50k or more a Contractor licensed by the State to do the type of work indicated in Section 2.1 may submit a quote. The Respondents signature on the quote certifies that he holds an active license under the provisions of Chapter 24 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes, Title 37. Failure to be properly licensed constitutes authority for the Parish to reject the quote. The Parish reserves the right to require a Contractor licensed for less than $50k depending on the requiements set forth in Section 2.1 and shall provide within 10 days after being notified of an Award. In case the work is not completed in every respect within the time that may be extended, it is understood and agreed that per diem deductions of the sum of $500.00 for liquidated damages, as stipulated in the quote and/or contract, shall be made from the total contract price for each and every calendar day after and exclusive of the day on which completion was required, and up to the completion of the work and acceptance thereof by the Parish. It is understood and agreed that time is of the essence to the contract, and the above sum being specifically herein agreed upon in advance as the measure of damages to the Parish on account of such delay in the completion of the work
