Site work and new construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Albia, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,720-square-foot, one-story above grade warehouse / distribution facility; and for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility.
The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Quotations, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities or irregularities allowed by law and to enter into such Contract or Contracts as may be deemed in the best interests of Monroe County. The successful Quoter will be required to furnish a Certificate of Insurance and Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds both in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price and in accordance with other requirements outlined in the Quotation Documents. Quoters will be required to provide security deposit in the form of a Quotation Bond, cashiers or certified check, or certified share draft of a sum not less than 5 percent of the Base Quotation Price/Sum. Construction may begin following Owner receipt and approval of required Contracts, Bonds and Insurance. The Owner requires that Project be Substantially Complete on or before the 1st day of June 2024. The Board of Supervisors of Monroe County will receive sealed quotations for the construction of Cold Storage Building consisting of a one story building of wood frame construction totaling approximately 6,720 square feet of remodel area located at 6475 Highway 34, Albia IA, 52531.
