Site work and renovation of a civil project in Stockton, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of December 21, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work includes: provision of labor, equipment, material, and all necessary work to install approximately three (3) 145' of 18" Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) and one (1) 145' of 10" CIPP as shown on plans and described in specifications. As prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders for this project, a bid guaranty in an amount not less than ten percent [10%] of the total base bid price, plus additives, if any, and conforming to the prescribed bidding procedures is required to be submitted with each bid, as a guaranty to be forfeited should the bidder, if awarded the Contract, fail to enter into the same, or fails to furnish in a timely manner the bonds and/or proof of insurance All bidders shall be licensed under the provisions of Chapter 9, Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code of the State of California. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "A" license at the time the bid is submitted and retain the license through the duration of the project. Failure to possess the specified license shall render the bid as non-responsive. The successful Contractor shall obtain a City of Stockton business license prior to contract execution and retain the license through the duration of the project. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
