Renovation of a residential development in Maxton, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Maxton Housing Authority is accepting sealed bids for a roofing project in Maxton, NC. Interested and qualified contractors who have successfully demonstrated their ability at comparable work and have necessary insurance are invited to bid. Women and minority businesses are encouraged to quote Removing, hauling and disposal of existing composition shingles and underlayment. Including all dump fees and labor to remove shingles and felt. Install new roofing underlayment - 15lb minimum. Install new architectural Style - 30 yr. minimum, composition shingle (Weathered Wood color) GAF Timberline HD or similar. Remove and replace with new all continuous ridge vent, shingle-over style. Remove and replace with new drip edge (White color). Remove and replace with new all roof vents (brown color) and pipe boots. Remove and replace all flashing with new at raised porch roofs. Remove and replace rain diverter with new over each entry door and at HVAC units where necessary. Project consists of: 19 - Buildings (6-quadraplex & 13-Duplex) located at 101 Steed Circle, Maxton, NC 28364 It is the responsibility of the bidder to verify all measurements. The Housing Authority will not be responsible for missing or incorrect information. All work shall comply with current state and local building codes and is subject to local jurisdiction final inspection.
