Notice to contractors: henderson county transfer station 3rd bay & tipping floor replacement bidder pre-qualification request: vannoy construction has been selected as the construction manager at risk by henderson county government and is seeking to pre-qualify contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, tools & equipment for the henderson county transfer station 3rd bay & tipping floor replacement. Historically underutilized business participation is encouraged. Project description: the project will consist of the construction of a 3rd tipping floor bay at the henderson county transfer station as well as the replacement of the existing concrete floor in existing bay #1. Project will include an extensive site work and concrete package along with a large pre-engineered metal building. The first phase of this project will bid in november 2023 and will include the existing tipping floor replacement and release of the pre-engineered metal building and electrical switchgear. The second phase will bid early 2024 and will include the remainder of the packages. Tentative bid packages: bp220 - turnkey site development bp270 - demolition bp390 - turnkey concrete bp500 - turnkey structural steel and misc. Metals bp550 - pre-engineered metal buildings bp790 - caulking and waterproofing bp810 - doors, frames, and hardware bp990 - painting and coatings bp1540 - plumbing systems bp1550 - mechanical systems bp1600 - electrical systems additional packages may be added and/or deleted at the discretion of the construction manager.
