A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The City of Statesboro is seeking general contractors for the reconstruction of three (3) homes (rebid) funded under the Citys Housing Rehabilitation Program. The bidder must be licensed as a Georgia General Contractor if the individual unit bid is greater than $2,500. Contracts will be awarded based on a competitive bidding process. House is to be built in accordance with the International Building Code (IBC) and Section 2, Part C "Minimum New Construction Standards" of the Contractor's Handbook, on owner's existing lot located at 222 Street, Statesboro, GA 30458. A turnkey job is expected, including connectionsto electrical and plumbing utilities, and allrequired permits. Temporary electrical service and site clean-up (daily and final clean-up) is the Contractor's responsibility. Foundation (NC-2) 1. Provide termite treatment (NC-2.11). 3. Provide positive crawl space drainage in crawl space (NC-2.08). 4. Install a 6-mil poly vapor barrier under entire heated floor area (NC-2.09). Roofing (NC-3) 1. Construct new roofing/ceiling framing and install roof sheathing and the roof covering in accordance with specifications NC-3.01 through NC-3.09. 2. Provide roof ventilation in accordance with NC-3.10 and NC-3.11. Floor and Exterior Wall Construction (NC-4 and NC-5) 1. Construct new floor framing system and install subflooring in accordance with specifications NC4.01, 4.03, 4.04, and 4.07. 2. Construct new exterior stud walls and exterior wall sheathing in accordance with specifications NC-4.01, 4.02, 4.05, 4.06, and 4.08. 3.
