Reference Number 0000328087 Question Acceptance Deadline 10/20/2023 at 3:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online All questions should be submitted, in writing via email, to Beth Diven, Buyer II at bdiven@fcgov.com Contract Start Date: February 1, 2024 The City of Fort Collins is requesting proposals from qualified Service Providers to perform the clean-up and disposal of items on public or private property used as homeless camps and shelters on an as needed basis. The awarded Service Provider shall be used on an on-call basis for the removal of trash, debris and personal items and must abide by the following guidelines: Service Provider must respond to calls and have items removed within an agreed upon timeline from the time of call out. Removal of personal items will be coordinated with Fort Collins Police Services (FCPS) for storage by the City. Other trash items or items not able to be stored will be disposed of by the Service Provider. Medical or hazardous waste disposal such as human waste, sharps, pharmaceuticals, etc. will be the responsibility of RFP 9874 Encampment Site Abatement Services Page 5 of 26 the Service Provider. Proper disposal of such hazardous, contaminated and/or medical waste must be in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. All personal protection equipment and any cleanup equipment must be supplied by the Service Provide. The City of Fort Collins reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularities or informalities.
