Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lawrence, Kansas. Working plans call for site work for a residential development; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Removal of the existing sidewalks and install of new sidewalks approximately 41,772 LF and curb removal and replacement approximately 4,096 LF and repair and resurface basketball courts approximately 3,972 sqft 1.1.1. This section specifies cast-in-place concrete, including reinforcement, concrete materials, mix design, placement procedures, and finishes. 1.1.2. All sidewalks, curbs, and approaches constructed or installed; and any replacements thereof at the Lawrence Douglas County Housing Authority shall conform to the following specification. 1.1.3. Furnish and install all concrete pavements and all incidental work required to complete this section. The LDCHA is requiring all new sidewalks to meet city permit and code requirements, as well as be compliant to all ADA and Section 504 requirements. This includes removing all steps and approaches to units, and replacing them with ADA compliant ramps, and handrails where required. The LDCHA is requiring all building approaches to be 3 feet wide with a thickness of 4 inches and all other sidewalks to be 4 feet wide with a thickness of 4 inches.
